About Challenge 25
Infinite Sports USA, in cooperation with Max Muscle Sports Nutrition Stores, is teamed up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Colorado and challenged us to use our fitness and endurance to make a difference to someone with real challenges - like a child with a life-threatening medical condition.
Colorado Make-A-Wish provides travel to a special destination, gifts to fulfill a special interest, or visits from special celebrities for qualified children. 80% of all proceeds from the Infinite Sports USA Challenge 25 Fitness-a-Thon went directly to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Colorado.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Colorado is 25 years old, and to celebrate the more than 3,000 wishes granted since 1983, they have asked clubs and organizations to come up with their own Challenge 25. The Fitness-a-Thon was Infinite Sports USA’s way to give support to the Make-A-Wish Foundation®.

Fitness-a-Thon Challenges
SHAWN MACK 900
This challenge started off as one exercise of 100 repetitions and most who had chosen this as their challenge were going to perform the Leg Press.
A few days before the big Challenge 25 Fitness-A-Thon, Carol was double-checking on who was confirmed for what challenges and the times that they were planning on being there. Rachel Patton, a nationally ranked fitness competitor and 2005 Carol Semple Fitness Classic Overall Champion, was telling Carol that she was going to do the 100 minute spin class at 2 pm and that her fiancé, Shawn Mack, was going to do 100 reps. Carol asked her which exercise he was going to do the 100 reps on, and she replied, "One exercise per body part!"
This became the 'Shawn Mack 900' challenge!
ARVADA FITNESS “TORTURE YOUR TRAINER”
The owner, Keith Bushaw and trainer Robby Zehner, took on the challenge of riding their road bikes from Arvada Fitness to the Gold’s Gym in Loveland, with Keith’s wife Robin driving the support vehicle, and then participated in the 100 minute spin class. Hope they took their Berzerker Stack!100 MINUTE SPIN, YOGA, AND BODYPUMP/BOOTCAMP CLASSES
Thanks to all of the wonderful instructors who so graciously donated their time to make these grueling classes a success. Congratulations to all the participants who completed this challenge and helped make this Fitness-A-Thon a success. Check out the photos on the Challenge 25 gallery!
THE ULTIMATE FIGHTING DEMO
The last event to take place was the incredible demonstration performed by the 2 Ultimate Fighters, Zac and Alfredo. The 2 brave victims were Ron Worley and James DeCamp. The victims, if you will, put on this steel plated protective training vest, and while kneeling with hands behind their backs were challenged to see who could take more kicks to their cage by these awesome highly trained fighters. The challenge ended in a tie…. 1 Kick! Both victims were wide eyed and sucking some big wind. 1 Kick, that’s all it took. The power these 2 fighters had in their kick was amazing. The following challenges were also available:
- 100 minutes on any cardio machine of choice
- 100 repetitions on an exercise of choice
- Participate in a 100-minute spin class
- Participate in a 100-minute yoga class
- Participate in a 100-minute aerobics class

It's not too late to donate!
