Carol Semple
First and foremost I want to say a special "Thank You" to Michael Alexander. This unique concept of Infinite Sports USA belongs to him! I am so blessed to share this opportunity with Michael and to pour my heart into something that I am so passionate about, being an athlete, promoting health and fitness, and fulfilling dreams. I have been a competitive athlete and promoted health and fitness most of my life, and now I am in a position to help others, like me, fulfill their athletic dreams.
I remember where I was and when I first read about competitive fitness competitions.
It was May 1990, and I was standing at the desk of the old Gold’s Gym in Denver, owned by Kent Border. I was reading an Ironman Magazine. There was a small black and white photo of Cameo Kneuer, Cory Everson’s sister, and an article of her winning the Ms. National Fitness competition with a brief description of what the competition included.
I read about the fitness routine round, the physique round, and the poise and projection round, and I thought to myself, "This is perfect for me!" I just knew that this was exactly what I was looking for. A competition where I could utilize my training and love for the sports of gymnastics and bodybuilding and where I could really promote my new found love for health and fitness.
